grant is a self-described "colorist" and passionate organizer. he has always enjoyed working with colors in any manner — whether it is his sneakers, digital art, adjusting his wears and characters in video games, or even building powerpoint slides when he was a consultant. he's also always loved organizing — from rooms to drawers to lines on a page; figuring out the right placement for anything has always made him feel at ease.

when grant moved to new york city, he started visiting the numerous museums in the city and became fascinated with abstract paintings and their organization of colors and shapes on canvas. it opened his eyes to the freedom of abstract painting, where each work encourages the viewer to receive what they want from the organization of those colors and shapes. over time grant began experimenting with painting acrylic on canvas, and he quickly fell in love with it.

the most important piece that makes grant just so grantastic has been the unwavering support of his family and friends who continually encourage him to pursue the things that make him happy and be his authentic self, which he attempts to inject into each of his works.
